Veronica majored in Film and Television Studies modified with Spanish and Portuguese Language and Literature for most of her Dartmouth career. Her 16mm film, By Chance, was screened in the 2003 Ivy Film Festival. Veronica was awarded a senior fellowship for the 2003-2004 academic year in order to make a narrative film with inner city high school students that reflected their views on race and ethnicity as it related to their sense of self. The fellowship resulted in a documentary, On the Real: Race and Ethnicity Through the Eyes of Urban Adolescents, and a narrative film, A Love Story in A minor, that awarded Veronica academic honors as well as the Maurice Rapf Award for Outstanding Achievement in Film at Dartmouth. These projects were also the maiden films of her Boston based independent film company Savoirfaire Productions. Presently, Veronica is in development on several film projects while pursuing her PhD in race and ethnicity studies in the film and television industry.
