Todd Piro

You see Todd bright and early every weekday morning, from 5-7am as co-anchor of the KPSP Local 2 Morning News.Todd joined KPSP after having practiced law for five years at a prestigious Wall Street law firm.  Previously, Todd was news director and anchor at WDCR/WFRD Radio in Hanover, New Hampshire.  While in New Hampshire, he also performed play-by-play duties for numerous sports.  Todd interned at WABC-TV, Good Morning America, and the Fox News Channel, all in New York, as well as WNNE-TV 31 in White River Junction, Vermont.  At these various internships, Todd had the opportunity to study under some very successful broadcasters, such as Bill Beutel and Janice Lieberman.  
Todd has been fortunate to interview Sen. John McCain, Sheryl Crow, Sam Donaldson, James L. Brooks, Fmr. Congressman Rob Portman, and Gerry Adams (Sinn Fein leader).  His proudest broadcasting achievement prior to arriving in the Desert was his anchoring of 4 straight hours of primary night coverage in New Hampshire for the 2000 presidential election, complete with candidate interviews and pundit analysis.  
Todd graduated with a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College (magna cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa).
