Shay Holland

Shay (Sharon) Holland is a Los Angeles-based actress who was recently featured in "Backstage" magazine and "Showfax" online magazine. Shay's post-Dartmouth career actually started inbroadcasting. After graduating from Dartmouth and Northwestern University with a Masters in journalism, Shay became an award-winning crime reporter and anchor whose investigative work helped expose a serial killer. Shay's daring first-hand reports--like bungee jumping from the worldÕs highest crane for a story on sports-related deaths and going inside a burning building for afeatureonfemale firefighters--aired on network affiliates, NBCÕs "Today" show and CNN.Shay began acting after deciding she had seen enough murder scenes; heron-camera background has landed hercommercial and video roles for companiessuch asthe Gap, DirecTV, Oracle, PeopleSoft and others. She also worked on an international AIDS awareness campaign with her brother, a bodybuilder who won the Mr. Universe title. Shay is now pursuing feature film andTV rolesand working at The Hollywood Reporter.
