Sagine Valla is born of Haitian immigrants and was raised in New Jersey.
She received an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 2005 and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins in 2007. Unable to suppress her deep love for performance, Sagine moved back to the tri-state area to pursue a career in acting. She left her job as a healthcare administrator to become the business manager of the Tony Award-winning Crossroads Theater Company. Sagine studies acting with Ken Schatz and is embarking on a number of projects building her career. She has recently come on board as the Director of Development for Vox Theater.
