Jud Caswell

The Boston Herald describes Jud Caswell as "one of those expert, multigifted folk singers who are surprisingly unknown outside their home territory." Caswell has been a performing musician all his life. He studied bassoon and saxophone before settling into acoustic guitar as his primary instrument. Since the release of his latest CD, “Lost & Found,” Caswell has won the Rose Garden Coffeehouse Performing Songwriter Competition in Mansfield, MA, and been selected as a finalist in the Road Song Contest of the Philadelphia Songwriters Project. “Lost & Found” was also selected as a “Top 5 for April 2004” pick by Boston’s Metronome Magazine, which said “Caswell is a superb acoustic fingerpicking style guitarist… these compositions soar… Expect Caswell and his music to grow in stature with every listen of this CD.”
