Joshua M. Feder

Joshua M. Feder '08 is a director/choreographer, theatre educator, and actor/singer based in NYC. NYC credits include directing Crazy at Heart, Split Decision, and Adam of the Apes, and choreographing A Christmas Carol and Nunsense: Amen! He has been an assistant director to Gordon Greenberg on 1776 (Paper Mill Playhouse), Pirates! (Huntington Theatre Company), and readings of the new musical Band Geeks! (NAMT, Ars Nova), and was assistant director to Erik Pearson on the US premiere of Dramatis Personae (The Cherry Lane, produced by The Playwrights Realm). He also has done much work back in New Hampshire, including six seasons at the New London Barn Playhouse where he is now Education Director. He has been there since 2008, directing and choreographing the Junior Intern Company productions, directing 2012's Straw Hat Revue, choreographing Side by Side by Sondheim and Leading Ladies, and performing in six musicals. He also choreographed and assistant directed The Liar at Dartmouth (Winter 2013 mainstage), and directed and choreographed 42nd Street at the Lebanon Opera House. As a theater educator, Josh has choreographed teen productions of Peter Pan, Anything Goes, Les MiserablesBeauty and the Beast, and The Day May Saved the Day at schools in Connecticut. As an actor, Josh has been in NYC productions of Reefer Madness (Gallery Players), O Night DivineAlice in Wonderland, and Another Dude's Slingbacks, and in A Chorus Line at the Janesville Armory in Wisconsin. Josh has worked with Roundabout Theatre Company, New York Theatre Workshop, The Playwrights Realm, and Goodspeed Musicals.
