Jessica Krug

Jessica is a recent graduate who kept herself sane while volunteer teaching for a year in the Marshall Islands with writing and humor (if you're amongst the 78.6% of the population who does not know where the Marshall Islands are, fear not: you're in good company. Also, they're halfway between Hawai'i and Australia). During her time there she realized it was the performance and craft of teaching that captivated her, not the education part. She now seeks a writing position for television, having completed a senior thesis entitled "Rebuilding Home: Stories of Kenya, Family and Place" and having made several contributions the newsletter produced by her volunteer teaching program (in the form of songs about the hilarity of life in the Marshall Islands, all set to familiar tunes).
