Beth Krakower '93 is the founder of CineMedia Promotions, an independent publicity, radio and web promotions firm that specializes in film composers, film score, soundtrack and cast album recordings.
Over the past ten years she has promoted close to 400 soundtrack recordings including the soundtracks for A.I Artificial Intelligence, A Beautiful Mind, Atonement, Catch Me If You Can, The Chorus (Les Choristes), Crash, Enchanted, Finding Nemo, Finding Neverland, Frida, Gladiator, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Hurt Locker, The Kite Runner, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Motorcycle Diaries, Munich, The Patriot, Pride and Prejudice, Road To Perdition, The Village, all of which either earned Academy Awards or nominations in the Best Original Song or Score categories.
She also represents a wide range of composers including Bear McCreary (Walking Dead, The Cape, Battlestar Galactica) and Lalo Schifrin (Mission: Impossible, Cool Hand Luke, Rush Hour trilogy).
For eight years Beth served as the New York Chapter Manager of Film Music Network and was Assistant Program Director of www.filmmusicradio.com. She is an Adjunct Professor at CUNY/Baruch College, works annually for the Telluride Film Festival, and her volunteer work includes serving on the NY Board of DAEMA, the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine, The Dartmouth Club of NY, and is President of the Class of '93. In 2008 she earned the Young Alumni Distinguished Service Award from Dartmouth.
