Anna Van Meter
After spending two misdirected years doing research on juvenile bipolar disorder at Brown, Anna followed the advice of that nagging voice in her head and moved to New York City to pursue a career in filmmaking. She is currently working at an independent production company. Last summer, she helped produce This Revolution, a political drama starring Rosario Dawson and Amy Redford, which premiered at Sundance. She is now helping with the development of several features. Outside of work, Anna enjoys writing. She is working on a film screenplay and has completed several television pilots, one of which is currently being pursued by MTV. At Dartmouth, Anna was President of the Jack-O Lantern humor magazine, which prepared her well for being The Girl at her current company, although the men are significantly less funny. Anna prides herself on being able to make a perfect, lethal cup of coffee.
